Precinct Structure Plan approval
There was great news for Donnybrae with the approval and gazettal of the Donnybrook/Woodstock Precinct Structure Plan by the Victorian State Government on Friday, 3rd November.
The announcement heralds the start of an extensive development program that will manage the progress of the new residential precinct in Melbourne’s northern growth corridor over the next two decades.
For the Dennis Family Corporation, the PSP approval is the culmination of a process it began working on back in 2011.
“The announcement from Planning Minister, Richard Wynne formalises the planning process and gives us the freedom to go forward with our plans at Donnybrae,” says Dennis Family Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Peter Levinge.
“Donnybrae has made a flying start in its initial six months and we look forward to bringing our vision to life here in the coming years,” he adds.
Dennis Family Corporation lodged a subdivision permit application with Whittlesea Council in late November and is hoping to receive approval early in the New Year. This timeline would allow civil construction to commence in the first half of 2018.
“We will be in a position to provide more detailed construction timeframes and updates once Council approval has been received,” Mr Levinge says.
