Donnybrae is starting to take shape as the development team continues to make steady progress.
Access to some parts of Stages 1 and 2 remain affected by authority sewer works along the estate’s frontage on Donnybrook Road. This branch sewer provides vital amenity to Donnybrae, and the civil contractor continues to make progress in difficult ground conditions. We have been liaising with the service authority, who anticipates the completion of this vital piece of infrastructure by the end of July 2019. Upon finishing the sewer along Donnybrook Road, the balance of Stage 1 and 2 construction will resume as a priority. Elsewhere on Stages 1 and 2 road asphalt, kerb and footpath construction are underway, really bringing Donnybrae to life.
In the meantime, the Donnybrae construction team has been able to make excellent progress on Stage 3. Road asphalt is to be placed shortly, and installation of the electrical infrastructure, required for streetlighting and power to new homes, will commence in July 2019. However, due to road access and provision of services, titles for Stage 3 are dependent on the completion of Stages 1 and 2.
Approval from authorities and working with neighboring landowners has taken more time than anticipated. This has resulted in a delay to construction commencing and title dates for Stages 4-7. The Donnybrae team is eager to get underway and continue to work towards construction commencement as a priority. Every effort is being made to gain approvals and bring the anticipated title date forward. Updates will be provided, as works progress.
